About Us

Lilly & Jace Kids Boutique isn’t just the name of my shop — it’s the heart of my story.

The boutique is named after my two children, Lillian and Jace, who are the inspiration behind everything I do. I opened the doors to my first brick-and-mortar store in Baton Rouge on June 18, 2022… less than two weeks before giving birth to my son.

Yes — you read that right.

On June 29th, just days after opening the store, I went into labor and welcomed baby Jace on July 1st. Most people would have taken a long maternity leave after a C-section and the whirlwind of opening a new business. But I had a dream, a brand new baby, and a boutique to run.

After just one week of recovery, I returned to the shop on July 11th — with Jace right by my side.

Behind the register sat his MamaRoo. Around the store were changing tables. In the back was his bassinet with cameras so I could keep an eye on him while helping customers. It may not have looked like a typical boutique setup, but it was exactly what our little family business needed.

Nothing was going to stop me — not even recovering from a fresh C-section.

One moment from that time still makes me laugh: I was unloading inventory with Jace nearby when my cell phone rang. I was busy and didn’t answer. A few moments later, the store phone rang. I picked it up with my usual greeting:
“Lilly & Jace Kids Boutique!”

On the other end was my gynecologist.

Her response?
“YOU ANSWERED YOUR WORK PHONE?! Girl, what are you doing at work?!”

I was officially caught.

We both burst out laughing because she knew exactly how determined I am.

Those early days became some of my most special memories. Our community watched Jace grow right inside the shop. Customers still come in today and talk about remembering him as a newborn and their sweet little interactions with him.

In September 2025, Lilly & Jace Kids Boutique moved into our new home in the Alexander’s Grocery shopping center, right on the corner of Highland and Perkins. Watching the business grow alongside my family has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

Being a small business owner means wearing a lot of hats. On any given day I’m a mom, a wife, a friend, a buyer, a bookkeeper, a social media manager, an accountant, and sometimes even a personal shopper for my customers.

But every bit of it is worth it.

Because the truth is — this dream wouldn’t exist without the incredible community that supports it.

Every person who walks through my doors means the world to me. If you’ve shopped with us before, you know that Lilly & Jace Kids Boutique is more than a store — it’s a place where relationships are built and everyone feels welcome.

And if you’ve never visited before, I would absolutely love to meet you!
